Scale Substitutions for M7 Chords

For the sake of example, we’ll use the key of C Major.
When soloing, try a couple these and mix em’ up.

B Minor Pentatonic
E Minor Pentatonic
A Minor Pentatonic

To get a little “out there”, try C# Lydian (C#,D#,F,G,G#,A#,C,C#)
Lydian Scale = Major scale with a #4
